The latest research from MARK KASSOF & CO. found that 47% of 18-64 radio listeners with a station they listen to most say it “always” makes them happy when they listen to it. An additional 36% say it “often” does.
“Happy” is the #1 feeling among 51 tested. Rounding out the top five are "comfortable," "interested," "connected" and "informed." Fewer than 5% reported always experiencing negative feelings such as "ticked off," "worried," "embarrassed," "annoyed" and "bored."
“The positive, constructive feelings we tested overwhelm the overtly negative ones, which are all in single digits," MARK KASSOF stated. 'Yes, radio is a positive force in listeners’ lives.”
These findings are based on 1,010 online interviews with 18-64 radio listeners in the U.S., conducted from OCTOBER 24-31. They’re part of MARK KASSOF & CO.’s annual ListenerThink P1 research, which this year focused mainly on how listeners feel when listening to their P1 station.
