CUMULUS News-Talk WKIM (NEWSTALK FM 98.9)/MEMPHIS has inked former crosstown iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WREC-A PD and host FORREST GOODMAN for 6-9a (CT) weekdays.  GOODMAN, who will join his former WREC cohort STEVE BUTLER on the show, will continue as studio host for MEMPHIS UNIVERSITY football and men’s basketball.

Corporate PD RANDALL BLOOMQUIST said that GOODMAN “is a gifted broadcaster and a fixture on the MEMPHIS radio and sports scenes. Adding him to the NEWSTALK 98.9 roster is a real coup and bolsters the station’s position as the voice of MEMPHIS.”
 
GOODMAN said, “I'm so pleased to be back on the air. This is my home and NEWSTALK FM 98.9 has great talent. I get a chance to work again with BEN FERGUSON and ANDREW CLARKSENIOR, two guys I have worked with before who are real pros."
