Greg & The Morning Buzz 'Lend A Helping Can' For New Hampshire's Needy

iHEARTMEDIA/NEW HAMPSHIRE morning show GREG & THE MORNING BUZZ will host The 24th annual “LEND A HELPING CAN” RADIOTHON on THURSDAY and FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20st-21nd. The two-day radio auction extends the normal four-and-a-half hour show to 13-and-a-half hours each day (5:30a-7p) – with all proceeds to benefit 11 NH agencies that help to feed the state’s needy and homeless.

The event will be broadcast at THE MORNING BUZZ ‘s PORTSMOUTH studios and heard statewide on WHEB/PORTSMOUTH, WGIR/MANCHESTER, KOOL 93.9/LEBANON, KOOL 96.3/KEENE and 104.9 THE HAWK/MEREDITH-LACONIA!

Last year's event raised over $90,000. Over the last few years, “Lend A Helping Can” has raised well over a million dollars and has fed hundreds of thousands of NH residents, as well as collect hundreds of tons of canned foods for local agencies.

“We all know how much of a difference the event makes in the quality of so many peoples’ lives," morning host GREG KRETSCHMAR said, adding "100% of the money that we raise is given to the agencies to help feed those in NH that need it.”  

KRETSCHMAR continued, “Given the state of the economy, food pantries throughout the state are hurting worse than ever. The listeners and sponsors have always been there for us when we’ve asked for help. And this year, with our great friends The MANCHESTER MONARCHS coming on board as our title sponsor  – we’re hoping for another successful radiothon!  We couldn’t be happier to partner with them once again!”
