CBS/Chicago Ups Mitch Rosen To WXRT, WSCR-A OM

CBS RADIO/CHICAGO has promoted Sports WSCR-A (THE SCORE)/CHICAGO PD MITCH ROSEN to OM for both WSCR-A and Triple A WXRT/CHICAGO, effective immediately. CHICAGOLAND RADIO & MEDIA reports that ROSEN, who has been PD of THE SCORE since 2005, will now oversee the programming departments for both radio stations. NORM WINER will continue to be WXRT's PD.

ROSEN will oversee the marketing, non-traditional revenue (NTR), and overall administrative side of both stations' operations. while WINER will continue to be responsible for all on-air elements and the brand development.

CBS/RADIO CHICAGO SVP/Market Manager ROD ZIMMERMAN told his staff in an internal memo: "MITCH's organizational skills, management style and sales/NTR focus will help grow the great brand that is XRT."
