NextRadio Debuts In Another Phone As App Downloads Near 1.2 Million

After getting good press in a BOSTON GLOBE article (NET NEWS, 11/4), NEXTRADIO has announced that it'll be featured in a new phone as the chips' use continues to grow nationwide.

All told, NEXTRADIO's total growth so far:

* Over 1,191,000 app downloads -- an increase of 61,000 app downloads since the last update just two weeks ago.
* Over 10,750 FM radio stations tuned to from the app -- an increase of 80 stations.
* Over 1.711 million hours of listening through NEXTRADIO – up 144,000 hours from last month's   1.567 million hours of listening.

Also of note, SAMSUNG's new Galaxy Note® Edge is preloaded with the NEXTRADIO app, which brings the app into 30 phones and a tablet.
