CRS 2015 New Faces Of Country Music Voting Deadline Extended Due To Software Issue

Following YESTERDAY's (11/17) announcement regarding voting being open for CRS 2015 "NEW FACES OF COUNTRY MUSIC SHOW" lineup (NET NEWS 11/17), a glitch was found within the voting system. Votes placed prior to 11:30a (CT) TODAY (11/18) will not be accounted for.

Due to the error, the deadline to vote will be extended to THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27th.

"In batching the votes from yesterday for counting and verification, our site host identified a software glitch that rendered all votes invalid," said CRS Exec. Dir. BILL MAYNE. "To insure the integrity and fairness of the vote, we are extending the deadline by one day; we are contacting all qualified voters who attempted to vote already and are asking they re-vote their choices now. We appreciate our trusted partner, MCN INTERACTIVE, for quickly identifying and correcting the issue."

Any employee of a commercial, full-time Country-formatted radio station may vote for the 2015 "NEW FACES OF COUNTRY MUSIC SHOW" performers. The five acts with the most votes will make up the lineup for the show.
