TOTAL TRAFFIC & WEATHER NETWORK/MIAMI HUB OM DAVID ISREAL shares, "Sad news about the passing of another great broadcaster. One of the founding partners of WBAM-A and WAPE-A, CYRIL BRENNAN passed away last night in his sleep at his home near MONTGOMERY, AL. He was 87. CYRIL, along with his brothers BILL and DAN built and operated radio stations in the Deep SOUTH (WVOK-A,WBAM, WAPE), as well as WFLI-A in CHATTANOOGA with partner BILLY BENNS. CYRIL was Chief Engineer of WBAM and WAPE in the 1950’s and 1960’s. He operated WBAM up until his retirement."
