GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA will once again serve early THANKSGIVING dinners for residents of PROJECT HOME, which provides shelter for the homeless in PHILADELPHIA. This year, the station's staff will be serving up turkey at two of the service's buildings, the JAMES WIDENER RAY HOMES, and JBJ SOUL HOMES.
The station is also collecting food donations during live broadcasts MONDAY with TIM MCMANUS (9-10a) and HARRY MAYES and former EAGLES star BRIAN WESTBROOK (10a-noon) at the HARD ROCK CAFE in Center City PHILADELPHIA.
PD MATT NAHIGIAN said, “It’s a privilege to once again be a part of this holiday with PROJECT HOME. To be able to provide dinner to two homes this year makes it even more special.”
PROJECT HOME Volunteer and In-Kind Gifts Coordinator PAIGE DENNIS said, "We are very excited to have 97.5 THE FANATIC return to PROJECT HOME to help make THANKSGIVING special at our JAMES WIDENER RAY HOMES residence, and doubly excited that they are providing a second dinner at our new JBJ SOUL HOMES this year. The THANKSGIVING dinner they provided last year was a wonderful treat for our residents, and still so much more than just a meal.”
