Music's biggest names were in LOS ANGELES last night (11/23) for the 2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, and it was a big night for ONE DIRECTION and KATY PERRY. Once again, the broadcast was hosted by PITBULL, and featured live performances from stars such as TAYLOR SWIFT, 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER, MARY J. BLIGE, CHARLI XCX, FERGIE, LORDE, ONE DIRECTION, SAM SMITH, SELENA GOMEZ, IMAGINE DRAGONS, ARIANA GRANDE, THE WEEKND, JESSIE J, GARTH BROOKS, NICKI MINAJ and SKYLAR GREY, LIL WAYNE and CHRISTINA MILIAN, WYCLEF JEAN and MAGIC! and JENNIFER LOPEZ and IGGY AZALEA.

Sunday's AMA's Power ABC-TV To Second Place
SUNDAY EVENING’s (11/23) AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS (AMAs) telecast helped ABC-TV finish second overall for the night, earning a 3.8 rating/10 share among adults 18-49 and reaching 11.55 million total viewers.
The star-powered awards show still trailed NFL Football on NBC-TV, which featured NFC EASTERN division foes the DALLAS COWBOYS versus the NEW YORK GIANTS, a game which yielded the Peacock a 7.1 rating/18 share and 19.77 million total viewers, according to ZAP2IT.
Additionally, the AMAs dipped 16% compared to the 2013 show.
