Country Stars Shine At AMAs In Los Angeles

LAST NIGHT (11/23), the 2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS (AMA) took place in LOS ANGELES.  Country artists shone throughout the night with a live performance by GARTH BROOKS, appearances by LUKE BRYAN and LUCY HALE, and big wins for artists in four major Country categories.

Awards for Country Male Artist and Country Album were presented on-air during the live television broadcast on ABC-TV, while awards for Country Female Artist and Country Band were announced after the broadcast.  The full list of winners is as follows:

Country Female Artist: CARRIE UNDERWOOD
Country Male Artist: LUKE BRYAN
Country Band, Duo or Group: FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE
Country Album: BRANTLEY GILBERT, "Just As I Am"

The DICK CLARK AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE was also presented to TAYLOR SWIFT in recognition of her accomplishments as both a Country and Pop artist.
