CBS RADIO Sports WIP-F/PHILADELPHIA's annual trek to PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT for the morning show's pre-THANKSGIVING show featured an old friend sitting in for the 7a (ET) hour, as TONY BRUNO rejoined his old WIP co-hosts ANGELO CATALDI and AL MORGANTI along with RHEA HUGHES and KEITH JONES.
BRUNO, who recently exited crosstown GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN (97.5 THE FANATIC) and has launched a podcast as well as guesting each week on KEITH OLBERMANN's ESPN television show, was CATALDI and MORGANTI's co-host in 1991-92 before exiting to join ESPN RADIO as one of the network's original hosts. The hour included previews and predictions for the EAGLES-COWBOYS THANKSGIVING DAY game as well as reminiscing about BRUNO's career and the day that BRUNO did a sports update live while trimming a tree outside the old WIP studios with a chainsaw.
