Report: Phil Hendrie Sues Unnamed Parties For Trying To Sabotage His Subscription Service

PHIL HENDRIE is suing several "John Doe" defendants in VENTURA COUNTY Superior Court for misappropriation of name and likeness, impersonating him on the Internet, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, claiming that the unnamed defendants tried to sabotage his "backstage pass" online subscription service.

COURTHOUSE NEWS SERVICE reports that HENDRIE, who moved from terrestrial to online-only broadcasting earlier this year, is alleging that someone is spreading false information to subscribers, telling them that his site had been hacked for credit card information or that accounts would be suspended, and some made "lewd and lascivious comments to third parties."
