Atlantic Records Names Maureen Kenny SVP A&R

ATLANTIC RECORDS has named MAUREEN KENNY SVP/A&R. Previously, KENNY was VP/A&R at REPUBLIC RECORDS, where she worked closely with artists such as OF MONSTERS AND MEN and WEEZER.
“MAUREEN brings great ears and deep experience to our A&R staff,” ATLANTIC EVP/Head of A&R PETE GANBARG said. “Over the past decade, she has signed and nurtured a diversity of compelling artists and A&R’d a string of outstanding records. She is admired throughout the music community for her intuition and creativity, and it gives me great pleasure to welcome her into the ATLANTIC family.”

Prior to joining REPUBLIC in 2011, Kenny spent six years at COLUMBIA RECORDS, where she rose from A&R Manager to Sr. Director, overseeing projects for MGMT, METRO STATION, JOHN MAYER, PETE YORN and others.
