Distiller Adds To Radio Promotion Staff

DISTILLER PROMOTION has added LAURA RAGSDALE and JOE SILVER to its College Radio Department, starting in JANUARY at the company's PORTLAND headquarters.

This comes on the heels of DISTILLER's new Indie Retail Marketing division, headed by music industry veteran JO LENARDI, who comes to the company after stints at BARSUK, WARNER BROS. RECORDS and FLEA MARKETING).

LAURA comes to DISTILLER from INDIANA UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Alternative WIUP-F (90.1 FM)/PITTSBURGH, where she was a DJ and Music Director. She also edited, wrote, drew and collected artifacts for her zine, "Staircase Wit," under the name LADY REPORTER LAURA LANE.  In the latest issue, "The Cereal Chronicles," she documents her quest to try ever existing cereal.  Search #LadyCerealReporter on INSTAGRAM.

JOE SILVER describes himself as "a musician, private guitar teacher, vinyl enthusiast and teller of many jokes." The WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY grad served as Music Director for the Non-Commercial college station WIDR (89.1 FM) for two years.
