SOCIETY OF LEADERS IN DEVELOPMENT (SOLID) is set to donate $3,200 to ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL and 5,000 pounds of food to SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK after a successful turnout at its "29TH ANNUAL TURKEY BOWL" fundraising event.
"We are honored to bring together some of MUSIC ROW's most athletic teams for a dose of healthy competition in SOLID's '29TH ANNUAL TURKEY BOWL,'" stated SOLID President BRIAN O'NEIL. "We're thrilled to supplement this longstanding tradition with a $3,200 donation to ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL and an amazing 5,000 pounds of food to be donated to the SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK. That's 2.5 tons! Thank you to all the teams that participated and helped gather such a significant donation."
SOLID's "29TH ANNUAL TURKEY BOWL" was held at TED RHODES PARK on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd and featured eleven teams from the local music community. Participating companies included APA, MCGHEE ENTERTAINMENT, BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT, CAA, CMT, FBMM, PARADIGM, PUBLISHERS UNITED, SESAC, SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE, UMG NASHVILLE, and WME.
