Spotify Launches Geo-Targeted Audio Platform For Brands

SPOTIFY is launching "Spot Radio Platform," allowing brands to activate local audiences in the top 15 U.S. markets. SPOTIFY will leverage TRITON DIGITAL’s Webcast Metrics Local market-level reporting capabilities to help advertisers better understand listening behaviors and engagement, ultimately providing a more holistic view of the streaming audio market -- both nationally and locally.
“Our scale, technology and growing ubiquity from the car to the living room combined with the metrics of TRITON will unlock the power of SPOTIFY for brands in the biggest U.S. markets,” said SPOTIFY NORTH AMERICA VP/Advertising & Partnerships BRIAN BENEDIK.
“Webcast Metrics will provide Spotify’s advertisers and agencies a more holistic view of the streaming audio market,” said TRITON DIGITAL CCO/GM Measurement & Analytics ROB FAVRE. “In addition, Webcast Metrics will give SPOTIFY a complete and accurate view of their listeners on both a national and local level.”
