WGN/Chicago Sets Series On Field's-Macy's Transition

With the change in name of venerable CHICAGO-based retail chain MARSHALL FIELD'S to the MACY'S national nameplate, TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO is airing a special three-part series, "FAREWELL TO FIELD'S," during the 7a and 5p CT newscasts on WEDNESDAY through next FRIDAY (8/30-9/1). The series will look at FIELD'S storied past (including, no doubt, FRANGO mints) and the future as FEDERATED folds the chain into MACY'S.
