CBS SPORTS RADIO has made official the rumored changes in its lineup effective JANUARY 2nd. As previously reported, CBS RADIO Sports KDKA-F (93.7 THE FAN)/PITTSBURGH morning host GREGG GIANNOTTI will be returning to NEW YORK, where he worked at sister WFAN-A-F before moving to PITTSBURGH, to co-host mornings with BRIAN JONES, who moves up from his current evening co-hosting duties.
Two-thirds of the current morning show, BRANDON TIERNEY and TIKI BARBER, will move to 9a-noon (ET), replacing JOHN FEINSTEIN, who will continue to provide commentaries for the network and its website. The third morning co-host, DANA JACOBSON, is exiting.
Overnighter DAMON AMENDOLARA will move to 6-10p (ET) weeknights, where he will replace JONES and CHRIS MOORE. Weekender AMY LAWRENCE will replace AMENDOLARA on the overnight shift 2-6a. JIM ROME (noon-3p), DOUG GOTTLIEB (3-6p), and SCOTT FERRALL (10p-2a) remain in their present slots.
The changes were originally reported by THE BIG LEAD in NOVEMBER.
