Following GREG STRASSELL's exit from the company (NET NEWS, 12/3), iHEARTMEDIA has chosen VP/Strategic Services/Marketing MARC CHASE to oversee the Brand Management Team, while SVP/Programming MAYNARD will now head up the Programming Strategic Review Team.
CHASE will review all facets of iHEARTMEDIA's Brand Management Team to ensure its stations possess the highest level of format-specific expertise. MAYNARD will work side-by-side with the company's EVP/Programmers, SVP/Programmers and the newly enhanced brand management team to collaborate on stations' action plans and monitor their sound.
Company sources have told ALL ACCESS that over the past several months, Pres./National Programming TOM POLEMAN and the company's EVP/Operations have been collaborating on ways for the iHEARTMEDIA National Programming Platform to become even more integrated with their local brands, so the National Programming Platform has adjusted its structure to include EVP/Programming and SVP/Programming. In an effort to streamline communication with stations, EVP/Programming and SVP/Programming will now be integrated into the National Programming Platform as the primary point of programming contact with local stations and markets.
This will place more control in the hands of markets, while streamlining communication with the company's programming personnel. They will work directly with Market Presidents and the VPP/OMs to develop programming action plans that utilize all the programming assets iHEARTMEDIA has to offer.
