ALASKA PUBLIC MEDIA, parent of ALASKA PUBLIC RADIO NETWORK, is cutting its work force by 20%, laying off seven and allowing three vacant positions to remain unfilled. The cuts, which leave the company's staff at 35, come after funding from the state has been cut by approximately $50,000. over two years.
