FLICK, host of “FLICK AND KELLY” in the afternoon on CBS RADIO Top 40 Adult WBZZ-F (100.7 STAR)/PITTSBURGH, was honored by THE SALVATION ARMY as a recipient of its annual “DOING THE MOST GOOD” award for the fundraising and awareness that he has accomplished in Western PENNSYLVANIA through his radio program and on-air promotions, including “Man In A Box” and spinoff “Man In A Box Sleeping Bag Drive”.
FLICK was presented with the award by PITTSBURGH SALVATION ARMY Major WILLIAM BODE at the awards banquet before giving his acceptance speech.
The "DOING THE MOST GOOD" annual dinner draws about 500 people each year to pay tribute to those in the PITTSBURGH region who go above and beyond in their support of THE SALVATION ARMY. This event is an opportunity for the organization to showcase its programs and services to key community leaders during a very important time of year. At this year's event, those in attendance were invited to participate in THE SALVATION ARMY's new social media campaign, "#RedKettleReason" as a kick off to its CHRISTMAS season.
