Condolences to family and friends of longtime GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG radio and TV personality MONTY DUPUY, who died SATURDAY (12/6) at 85.
DUPUY hosted mornings at WFBC-A-F/GREENVILLE for many years, and served as weatherman and "MONTY'S RASCALS" children's show host at WFBC-TV (now WYFF-TV) in 1960-78. He went into station ownership in 1977 at WGXL (XL STEREO 100, now iHEARTMEDIA Country WSSL (WHISTLE 100)) and sold it to KEYMARKET in 1982.
