ALL ACCESS has confirmed that FLINN BROADCASTING Alternative WIVG (96X)/MEMPHIS is now BOOMIN 96, Throwback Hip-Hop.

OM CHRIS TAYLOR said, " FLINN BROADCASTING launched the first true Hip-Hop station in MEMPHIS in 1996 with KXHT (HOT 107.1), now BOOMIN 96 is here to relive those days!"

GM DUANE HARDGROVE added, "The MID-SOUTH now has a Hip-Hop station for the 18-34s with HOT 107 and now 25-54s with BOOMIN 96."  HARDGROVE oversees both stations.

The company is planning to launch a booster translator at 96.3 to enhance BOOMIN 96's market coverage.
