KMLE's Steve And Nina Collect Letters For Troops

CBS RADIO Country KMLE/PHOENIX morning hosts STEVE KRAMER and NINA D. have joined with the non-profit PACKAGES FROM HOME to collect thank-you letters from listeners to troops deployed overseas.  The "Big Thank You Project" has collected 11,775 letters, over ten times the original goal of 1,079 letters, with the help of several schools, including ISHIKAWA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, BASIS CHARTER SCHOOL, and RIVERBEND PREP ACADEMY.

NINA said, “Being away from your family is already hard, but being away during these times can be  harder.  Our Soldiers sacrifice so much for us and often times don't receive the gratitude they deserve.”

KRAMER added, “We wanted to come together with the KMLE Nation to send our troops as much love as we could so they remember how appreciated they are.”
