New Dylan Video Promotes Sony/Legacy Release Of Complete 'Basement Tapes'

"From the Village To The Basement," a three-minute-plus promo clip narrated by JEFF BRIDGES to promote SONY/LEGACY's release of BOB DYLAN's "THE BASEMENT TAPES RAW: The Bootleg Series, Vol. 11," recreates the historic road trip that started in downtown NEW YORK CITY and ended at the doorway of the famed BIG PINK house in WOODSTOCK where the singer/ songwriter and THE BAND recorded the tracks that make up the classic album.

The six-CD set also includes a 120-page booklet featuring rare and unseen photographs and memorabilia from the fabled 1967 sessions. An expurgated version of THE BASEMENT TAPES first came out in 1975, but this release includes every track the group recorded, under the watchful eye of THE BAND's GARTH HUDSON.
