TagStation, iBiquity To Demo NextRadio FM Dashboard App For Connected Cars At CES

At CES Again

NEXTRADIO, the app designed to work with FM tuners in cell phones, will be shown off once again at INTERNATIONAL CES in LAS VEGAS next month, but this time, it will share a booth with iBIQUITY's HD RADIO.  The two services will be in booth 8232 in the Central Hall at the LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER, near the front of the hall.  The combination follows the announcement at the NAB/RAB RADIO SHOW in INDIANAPOLIS last SEPTEMBER that iBIQUITY and TAGSTATION would be partnering on a broadcast radio app for the connected car dashboard, and the partners will be demoing the new app at CES.

The latest statistics on NEXTRADIO adoption have also been released, with over 1,333,000 app downloads by the end of 2014, over 10,910 FM stations listened to through the app, over 2,024,000 hours of listening through the app, and a 4/5 rating in the GOOGLE PLAY Store.
