The buyer is headed by JOHN BRIDGE, the same principal whose WINDY CITY BROADCASTING, LLC bought W280EM/CHICAGO for $1 million. The translator lists its primary station as Ethnic WVIP/NEW ROCHELLE, NY.

In CANADA, the CRTC has approved the purchase by JIM PATTISON BROADCAST GROUP of 7 FM and 2 AM stations in the EDMONTON market and SASKATCHEWAN from RAWLCO RADIO for C$104,150,000 plus assumption of leases valued at C$2,772,125. The stations include Hot AC-Classic Hits CKNO (102.3 NOW! The CRTC also approved TRAFALGAR BROADCASTING LTD.'s applications to change the transmission parameters of Ethnic CJMR-A/MISSASSAUGA and Religion CJYE-A (JOY 1250)/OAKVILLE, ON in the TORONTO market, decreasing CJMR's daytime power to 10,000 watts and changing the stations to a single-pattern operation day and night.
