U2's not the only band giving away their new album for free: LINKIN PARK are teaming up with GOOGLE PLAY to give away their recently released sixth studio album, "The Hunting Party," on MACHINE SHOP RECORDINGS/WARNER BROS. RECORDS, for free, starting today at http://goo.gl/URkMjb. The offer is only available to those living in the U.S. and lasts until DECEMBER 23rd.
The album came out JUNE 17th and debuted at #3 on the BILLBOARD 200, selling 110,000 copies to finish behind LANA DEL REY and SAM SMITH. The album was named one of the “Best Rock Albums of 2014” by REVOLVER and LOUDWIRE, where it topped the list.
The free album release on GOOGLE PLAY marks the kick-off for the band's "The Hunting Party" NORTH AMERICAN tour this winter, featuring guests RISE AGAINST and OF MICE & MEN, which gets underway in ORLANDO at the AMWAY CENTER on JANUARY 15th.
