Report: Kelly Ransford Joins WXRT As MD

CBS RADIO Triple A WXRT/CHICAGO has tapped, "KELLY RANSFORD, a veteran of Triple A stations in SAN FRANCISCO, SEATTLE and DENVER as its new MD, according to a report from ROBERT FEDER, notes, "she succeeds JOHN FARNEDA (NET NEWS 11/11), who stepped down last month as operations manager and music director after 31 years at the CBS RADIO station."

VP/Adult Rock Programming NORM WINER said RANSFORD had an "excellent reputation throughout the industry for her integrity, her work ethic, easy-going personality, her knowledge and passion for music and radio, and her straightforward approach as a communicator.”
