Double Talk: KMBZ To Split Simulcast Into Two Talk Stations

ENTERCOM News-Talk KMBZ-A-F/KANSAS CITY is splitting its simulcast into two Talk stations on JANUARY 5th.
The new KMBZ-F lineup will continue KANSAS CITY'S MORNING NEWS 5-10a (CT), followed by "TREND K.C." with ZAK BURNS, incoming from BONNEVILLE News-Talk KIRO-F/SEATTLE, and JAYME MONACELLI, for 10a-2p. DANA WRIGHT and SCOTT PARKS remain in the lineup in their current 2-6p slot, while middayer JONATHAN WEIR moves to 6-9p. PREMIERE's GROUND ZERO with CLYDE LEWIS takes over 9p-midnight, with PREMIERE's COAST-TO-COAST AM WITH GEORGE NOORY continuing overnight.
Current evening host DARLA JAYE moves to mornings 5-9a on the new "TALK 980," followed by PREMIERE's GLENN BECK, who moves from evenings on the simulcast to 9-11a on the AM. PREMIERE's RUSH LIMBAUGH will now be heard only on the AM side 11-2p, followed by PREMIERE's SEAN HANNITY 2-5p and "AMERICA NOW" 5-8p. WESTWOOD ONE's HERMAN CAIN will be heard 8-10p on the AM, with COURTSIDE's LAURA INGRAHAM 10p-midnight and COAST-TO-COAST AM simulcast midnight-5.
