JIM ROME's daily TV show on CBS SPORTS NETWORK, "ROME," will cease production in APRIL due to what's described as a "mutual" decision, SPORTSBUSINESSDAILY.COM reports. ROME will stay with CBS and focus on other radio and TV projects.
"Together with JIM, we decided to shift focus and produce new projects across CBS SPORTS NETWORK in place of the daily TV show 'ROME.'" CBS SPORTS Pres. DAVID BERSON said. "JIM remains a valuable member of the CBS SPORTS family, continuing his daily show on CBS SPORTS RADIO, his program on SHOWTIME and his contributions to CBS SPORTS properties including 'The NFL Today' and NCAA Men's Basketball Championship."
"While I am sad to say goodbye to a show that I am really proud of, I look forward to our fourth season of 'JIM ROME on SHOWTIME,' 'The JIM ROME Show' on CBS SPORTS RADIO, continued contributions for 'The NFL Today' and the NCAA Basketball Tournament and the numerous opportunities this partnership continues to provide," ROME said.
