The price for ALPHA MEDIA's previously announced acquisition of nine radio stations in SHREVEPORT and TYLER-LONGVIEW from ACCESS.1 COMMUNICATIONS is $13,750,000. The price was not previously disclosed, but appears in the contract filed with the FCC this week.
The stations include Urban KBTT (103.7 THA BEAT)/HAUGHTON, LA; Oldies KLKL/MINDEN, LA; Gospel KOKA-A/SHREVEPORT, LA; Urban AC KDKS-F (HOT 102 JAMS)/BLANCHARD, LA; and Classic Rock KTAL-F (98 ROCKS)/TEXARKANA, LA, in the SHREVEPORT market, and Classic Country KKUS (104.1 THE RANCH)/TYLER, TX; Classic Hits KOOI (SUNNY 106.5)/JACKSONVILLE, TX; Regional Mexican KOYE (LA INVASORA 96.7)/FRANKSTON, TX; and Country KYKX/LONGVIEW, TX in the TYLER-LONGVIEW market.
In other filings with the FCC, BLOUNTSTOWN COMMUNICATIONS, INC., is selling Oldies WYBT-A and Country WPHK (K102.7)/BLOUNTSTOWN-PANAMA CITY, FL, to DIVINE WORD COMMUNICATIONS for $500,000.
SSR COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is swapping KQJO/ST. JOSEPH, LA to BLACK MEDIA WORKS for the construction permit for K279CG/TALLULAH, LA.
GEOS COMMUNICATIONS is selling noncommercial News-Talk-Classical WXLE/INDIAN LAKE, NY to THE ST. LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY (NORTH COUNTY PUBLIC RADIO) for $20,000. The buyer already programs the station under an LMA.
And the UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING has requested an extension of its Silent STA for K210AF/TORRINGTON, WY due to displacement by a full-power station.
