Triangle Launches Raleigh's Third Country Station

New Year's Day Launch

TRIANGLE MARKETING ASSOCIATES kicked off 2015 by launching “COUNTRY SUPERSTARS 102.3,” on recently acquired WFNL/RALEIGH. TRIANGLE is headed by former CURTIS MEDIA/RALEIGH VP/GM RICK HEILMANN (NET NEWS 12/2).

CURTIS MEDIA had installed a Bluegrass format on the signal in SEPTEMBER (NET NEWS 9/26). Upon FCC approval of the sale to TRIANGLE, WFNL went dark on DECEMBER 2^nd.

Though not streaming yet, the station has created a FACEBOOK page.

No word yet about on-air or programming staff announcements.
