Contemporary Christian KCBI/DALLAS is featuring special interviews and programming today to commemorate the one-year anniversary of HURRICANE KATRINA. Guests include Associate Pastor INMAN HOUSTON of FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH in NEW ORLEANS, GARY LEDBETTER, Director of Communications for SOUTHERN BAPTISTS OF TEXAS CONVENTION, and DR. CHUCK KELLY, Pres. of NEW ORLEANS BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY. There will also be a special feature on KATRINA evacuees to NORTH TEXAS, including jazz musician AL BELLETTO, the co-founder of the NEW ORLEANS JAZZ AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL and the FRENCH QUARTER FESTIVAL.
MARVIN OLASKY, professor at UT AUSTIN and columnist for WORLD magazine, will talk about the aftermath of the storm and the government’s response during JERRY JOHNSON LIVE at 5p.
