KDAR Names Jess Collins GM

Collins Joins As GM

SALEM COMMUNICATIONS has tapped JESS COLLINS as GM at Christian KDAR/OXNARD. COLLINS fills the role held previously by RICHARD TREJO, who retired after 14 years at SALEM and 37 years in radio. COLLINS brings 15 years of Market Manager experience in THE ANTELOPE VALLEY (ADELMAN BROADCASTING and HIGH DESERT BROADCASTING) to his new role at KDAR.

Salem VP/Operations Manager TERRY FAHY said, "When we were looking to replace RICHARD TREJO, we knew it would be a difficult role to fill. But we have found in JESS COLLINS a man with the broadcasting experience needed and passion for our unique format."

COLLINS added, "Working for SALEM is a dream come true for me, plus after working 18 years in the desert it will be a welcome change to work near the coast!"
