SXSW Announces Third Round Of Artists

SXSW: 965 Bands And Counting

The SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST MUSIC FESTIVAL, scheduled for AUSTIN on MARCH 17th-22nd, has announced the third round of acts who will be performing at the gathering.

Among those added to the bill are BEST COAST, ARCADE FIRE's WILL BUTLER, JACK ANTONOFF's BLEACHERS, teen metal act UNLOCKING THE TRUTH, JORMA KAUKONEN, YO GOTTI and DIARRHEA PLANET, putting the number at 965 and counting.

They join previously announced performers like THE ZOMBIES, SCOTT WEILAND, THE POP GROUP, SURFER BLOOD, THE TING TINGS and others.

The FESTIVAL will feature artists from as far away as NIGERIA (WIZ KID, D'BANJ), SARAJEVO (DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV), SEOUL (CRAYON POP, EPIK HIGH, HITCHHIKER) and MYANMAR (SIDE EFFECT).
