Influential website PITCHFORK has launched its first-ever Internet radio station, PITCHFORK RADIO.
Presented by LEXUS and powered by TUNEIN and in partnership with ACE HOTEL DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, the station will broadcast weekdays JANUARY 20th to FEBRUARY 6th, 10a-6p (PT), from UPSTAIRS AT ACE HOTEL DOWNTOWN L.A., which will be open to the public. PITCHFORK founder RYAN SCHREIBER and staffers BRANDON STOSUY and EVAN MINKSER will contribute.
PITCHFORK RADIO #OFFLINE LA will cap off the broadcast with a two-night event at THE WELL in L.A. on FEBRUARY 6th and 7th featuring very special performances from bands and DJs still to be announced. Listeners can follow PITCHFORK RADIO now via TUNEIN before it starts broadcasting live.
The station’s programming will feature regular PITCHFORK news updates, guest DJ sets (including stints from some of L.A.’s finest record stores) and studio sessions with many of PITCHFORKs favorite artists.
With TUNEIN, PITCHFORK RADIO and live performances will be accessible not just by the live pop-up audience, but will be broadcasted and distributed globally to TUNEIN’s more than 50 million listeners. Listeners can access PITCHFORK RADIO by downloading the free TUNEIN RADIO app for their mobile device or by visiting TUNEIN.COM.
