RUBBER CITY RADIO Adult Standards-News WAKR-A/AKRON goes "live and local" on weekdays, according to OHIO MEDIA WATCH, which reports that the station is dropping DIAL-GLOBAL's satellite format to air a lineup including former WKDD/AKRON PD CHUCK COLLINS in early middays, BOB ALLEN in middays, and sister Rock WONE morning host TIM DAUGHERTY in afternoons. RAY HORNER continues in mornings, and the station wil continue airing CLEVELAND INDIANS, BROWNS, and CAVALIERS games.
