Cumulus, Sweetjack Dismissed As Defendants From Suit Over Jewelry Design

A CALIFORNIA court has dismissed CUMULUS MEDIA, INC. and its SWEETJACK, LLC subsidiary from a case brought by L.A. GEM AND JEWELRY DESIGN, INC. over alleged copyright infringement for selling jewelry that allegedly infringed on the plaintiff's design.

The claims against CUMULUS and SWEETJACK were dismissed without prejudice by CALIFORNIA Central District Court Judge JOHN F. WALTER last TUESDAY (1/20), pursuant to a motion filed on JANUARY 16th.  The initial suit was filed on NOVEMBER 7th against CUMULUS, SWEETJACK, IMSMISTYLE, BLUSH JEWELRY, LLC, and PILAR VARGAS; the case continues against the other defendants.
