The UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA will LMA-with-purchase-option Full Service WHAN-W275BQ/ASHLAND, VA from FIFTH ESTATE BROADCASTING and will simulcast its noncommercial Variety WTJU/CHARLOTTESVILLE on the station starting FEBRUARY 1st, reports RICHMOND alternative weekly STYLE WEEKLY.  

The paper adds that UVA is also proposing to air its shows on VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY noncommercial Variety WVCW/RICHMOND 6p-1a (ET) weeknights.  And the HANOVER HERALD-PROGRESS reports that the WHAN LMA is for three years.
