FCC Commissioner Rosenworcel's Staff Undergoes Several Changes

Several staff changes in FCC Commissioner JESSICA ROSENWORCEL's office were announced TODAY (1/29).

Among the changes are the departure of Senior Legal Advisor DAVID GOLDMAN, who is joining the staff of Rep. FRANK PALLONE (D-NJ) a Chief Counsel for Communications Policy, and Policy Director CLINT ODOM, who has been named General Counsel for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation under Ranking Member Sen. BILL NELSON (D-FL).   Staff attorney PRISCILLA DELGADO ARGERIS has been promoted to Senior Legal Advisor for wireless, international, and public safety issues, and Special Advisor and Confidential Assistant VALERY GALASSO has been upped to Policy Advisor. 

Finally, former Counsel for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation TRAVIS LITMAN has been named Legal Advisor with responsibility for wireline and consumer issues, and JENNIFER THOMPSON, former Press Assistant for former Sen. MARK PRYOR (D-AR), has joined the office as Special Advisor and Confidential Assistant.  

ROSENWORCEL said, “DAVID and CLINT have been trusted advisors and good
friends. They are both terrific public servants. DAVID has a deep background in communications law and is without equal in his command of wireless policy. He is full of innovative ideas and uncommonly good at developing creative ways forward. Congressman PALLONE and his colleagues are extraordinarily lucky to have his advice and good counsel. CLINT is the consummate diplomat.  He has a mix of impeccable judgment, substantive smarts, and savvy that Senator NELSON and his colleagues will benefit from in spades. While their departure is a loss to my office, I am proud that they both are continuing in public service in new capacities on CAPITOL HILL.”  

On LITMAN and THOMPSON's arrival, ROSENWORCEL said, “I am delighted that both of these accomplished individuals are joining my office.  Their strong backgrounds in communications policy and mix of experience in the public sector and private sector will mean good counsel for my office and exceptional support for the important work we do at the Commission.”
