Sony Music Expands Red Bull Records Distribution To World

SONY MUSIC has expanded its distribution partnership with RED BULL RECORDS to cover the entire world exclusive of JAPAN; RED BULL RECORDS has been distributed in NORTH AMERICA via SONY MUSIC/RED since the label’s inception in 2007.
“We’re elated to enter into this partnership with SONY,” RED BULL RECORDS SVP/Global Artist & Label Development JOE CALITRI said. “Over the years we’ve formed an incredible association with RED NORTH AMERICA and more recently with SONY MUSIC AUSTRALIA, where we are approaching double-Platinum with ITCH’s first single 'Another Man.' Expanding our relationship was the next logical step in strengthening our global reach and in the overall evolution of RED BULL RECORDS. We couldn’t be more excited to work with the SONY teams around the world.”

The first album to be released under the deal is AWOLNATION’s Run, set for U.S. release MARCH 17th.
