CASEY KASEM may finally be resting in peace, but the war between his children and wife continues. FOX reports KASEM's children, "are urging LOS ANGELES police to make progress in an elder abuse investigation focusing on the radio legend's widow. KASEM's children claimed at a FRIDAY news conference that the investigation into JEAN KASEM's care that began last JUNE has stalled."

Just before CHRISTMAS (NET NEWS 12/23/2014), ALL ACCESS reported that in a conclusion to one of the more bizarre news stories of the past year, renowned radio personality CASEY KASEM had finally been laid to rest. KASEM's body was buried last TUESDAY at the VESTRE GRAVLUND, one of the largest cemeteries in NORWAY. Reports didn't know for sure whether wife JEAN was present, but his children definitely were not. In fact, they didn't even know he was being buried until the day before.

As for charges against JEAN KASEM, FOX notes, "police spokeswoman JANE KIM says detectives are still actively investigating, though she wouldn't provide details. The district attorney's office says no case has been presented to prosecutors."
