LOU CHRISTIE has been added to the HIT PARADE HALL OF FAME Nominating Committee. CHRISTIE was born LUIGI ALFREDO GIOVANNI SACCO in the PITTSBURGH suburb of GLENWILLARD, PA. As early as 15 years of age, he began his chart topping multi-million selling career as a songwriter, recording artist and performer. In 1963 “The Gypsy Cried” landed on the charts, followed by “Two Faces Have I” and the multi-million selling “Lightnin’ Strikes” in 1965. “Rhapsody In The Rain” and “I’m Gonna Make You Mine” gave him more gold records.
In 2008, CHRISTIE was inducted into the HIT PARADE HALL OF FAME.
