WCBS/NY Will Carry Couric Simulcast

In other WCBS-A news, the station will carry the simulcast of the first segment of the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH KATIE COURIC starting with COURIC's CBS debut on TUESDAY (9/5). The simulcast will start at 6:30p ET and will run between 8 and 10 minutes, after which the station will return to its "traffic and weather together on the eights" and news wheel format. COURIC's radio feature "KATIE COURIC'S NOTEBOOK" and 5p ET CBS RADIO NEWS newscast wil also air on WCBS.

And sister News KNX-A/LOS ANGELES will carry the COURIC simulcast for the show's first week, and will carry the COURIC feature and radio newscast.
