CBS AC WLIF (101.9 LITE FM)/BALTIMORE has named local wake-up mainstay STEVE ROUSE the station's new morning personality, effective TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th. ROUSE, who most recently served as morning host at crosshall sister WQSR before it flipped from Oldies to JACK, will be joined by LITE FM's DIANE LYN and longtime BALTIMORE traffic reporter SCOTT PARKER. The show, which will air from 5a-9a, will be called "STEVE ROUSE: BALTIMORE’S MORNING SHOW."
When asked why he wanted to return full-time to radio, STEVE commented, "CBS and I have been discussing this for awhile, but I needed some time to relax after our show ended on WQSR. Now, I’m ready to entertain in the morning and to give everyone an opportunity to go to a party without having to put on make-up!"
Added CBS RADIO/BALTIMORE VP/Programming DAVE LABROZZI, "STEVE is a true BALTIMORE radio icon, and has been the host of BALTIMORE’S MORNING SHOW for nearly two decades. We are more than thrilled to have him take over the wake-up duties on one of BALTIMORE’s most popular radio stations."
