Former WSIU Manager Dr. Kenneth Garry Passes Away

Condolences to family and friends of former public radio and television executive Dr. KENNETH GARRY, JR., who died JANUARY 23rd after a battle with cancer at his home in EFFINGHAM, IL at 72, according to THE SOUTHERN ILLINOISAN.

GARRY, a university professor, served in several capacities, including Station Manager and Director of Development and Ascertainment, at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS' noncommercial WSIU-F and PBS affiliate WSIU-TV/CARBONDALE, IL and noncommercial WUSI-F and PBS affiliate WUSI-TV/OLNEY, IL.  He later served as President/GM of PBS affiliate WCTE-TV/COOKEVILLE, TN.
