Rick Strauss Named New WIYY PD

Rick Strauss Is Back In Baltimore

HEARST-ARGYLE Active Rock WIYY (98 ROCK)/BALTIMORE has named RICK STRAUSS PD. The move marks a return to WIYY for STRAUSS, who served as the station's PD from 1994 to 2002. He'll be back in action on FEBRUARY 24th.

STRAUSS re-joins WIYY after more than 10 years at iHEARTMEDIA in NEW YORK where he most recently served on the National Programming Platforms team as Sr. Dir./Digital Music Programming, developing content for iHEARTRADIO including artist-hosted stations and branded channels for marketing and advertising partners.

Besides WIYY, STRAUSS has also programmed WMGK/PHILADELPHIA and WZZO/ALLENTOWN.
