Dolewite Named PD At WUBT

iHEARTMEDIA/NASHVILLE has named JAMES 'DOLEWITE' RAYMER PD for Urban WUBT (101.1 THE BEAT).  His appointment is effective immediately.  

He was previously APD and started out 14 years ago at the station doing nights, eventually was promoted to PM drive with his late co-host CURTIS 'SCOOBY' SENIOR. (NET NEWS 2/20/12)

DOLEWITE said, "iHEARTMEDIA/NASHVILLE gave a chance to my later partner SCOOBY and I in 2001 and I'm elated to have this opportunity to lead THE BEAT as the PD. I know SCOOBY would be proud. We have an incredible staff at the BEAT and I'm looking forward to leading a team that's capable of amazing things.
