Radio Disney Sells Atlanta, Pittsburgh AMs To Salem

RADIO DISNEY is selling two more of its AMs, both to SALEM MEDIA affiliates.  RADIO DISNEY ATLANTA, LLC is selling WDWD-A/ATLANTA to SALEM MEDIA's SOUTH TEXAS BROADCASTING, INC. for $2.75 million, while SPORTS RADIO GROUP, LLC is selling WDDZ-A/PITTSBURGH to SALEM's PENNSYLVANIA MEDIA ASSOCIATES, INC. for $1 million.

In other filings with the FCC, RODNEY D. TOW, TRUSTEE is selling the construction permit for a new FM in ERIE, IL to JMRW, LLC under an order of U.S. Bankruptcy Court selling the assets of ABLE RADIO CORP. and ACE RADIO CORP. for $76,000.

CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. is selling W268BW/GAINESVILLE, FL to MANUEL E. ARROYO for $38,000.

MOUNTAIN AREA INFORMATION NETWORK is transferring low-power FM WPVM-LP/ASHEVILLE, NC to FRIENDS OF WPVM, INC. for $25,000 ($20,000 assumption of debt, $5,000 in cash), representing the depreciated fair market value of the physical equipment and facilities.

THREE STATES BROADCASTING CO., INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WHJC-A/MATEWAN, WV due to "serious equipment problems."

FIVESTAR MEDIA CORP. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for KPER/EUNICE, NM for financial reasons; the licensee is negotiating to donate the station to a nonprofit organization.

And DENISE CHOI has closed on the sale of W236CL/MILLBOURNE, PA to SCRIBE VIDEO CENTER for $1.

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, MARK JENSEN's MWB BROADCASTING is selling Oldies KAWL-A and AC KTMX (MIX 105)/YORK, NE to NEBRASKA RURAL RADIO ASSOCIATION for an undisclosed price, according to the YORK NEWS-TIMES.
